Sage Hill is truly a gift to the literary life of the country.
This is probably one of the most outstanding writing workshops in the country. Excellent size and location and organization. A great experience.

It's difficult to say much about Sage Hill right. Since it was my first, I had no expectations beyond a vague idea that it would prompt, feed, initiate, spark, push, threaten, encourage some next step. Of course it did. The rest is less articulable and has to do with the future and the heart. I can't imagine not returning.

This is my second time at Sage Hill. Can something be as good the second time? YES! Sage Hill is the best workshop I've ever attended. . . . the colloquium was tremendous -- challenging and enabling.
A singular space and experience which I'll recommend endlessly, and which I hope to come back to when I'm working on the conclusion of the novel that was reborn here.
