Kim McCullough, born and raised (mostly) in Regina, is a writer and teacher living in Calgary, Alberta. She is an MFA candidate in UBC’s Creative Writing (opt-res) program. Kim is a past presenter at the Fernie Writers’ Conference, and has facilitated various writing workshops for teens and adults. Her first novel, Clearwater (Coteau Books) was released in 2013.

Faith Erin Hicks is a graphic novelist who started out making comics just for fun, and since 1999 has drawn over 2,200 pages. Previous works include The War at Ellsmere, Brain Camp (with Susan Kim and Laurence Klavan), Friends With Boys, Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong (with Prudence Shen), Bigfoot Boy (with J. Torres) and The Adventures of Superhero Girl. She lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her boyfriend and their helpful cat.
